About Me

Please note that Skype generally has a better connection than the italki app. Hello! I am a native speaker of English from California. I currently live in Japan and I also speak French and Japanese. My interests include music, video games, physics, math, programming, tech, Linux, different cultures, food, gardening, pets, chess, and of course, language learning, but we can talk about whatever you would like!

Me as a Teacher

I am new to teaching English, but I am very excited about it! I have honestly always wanted to teach English, as learning about languages is a passion of mine. Of course I know English already, but I am sure that teaching it will make me notice all kinds of things about English that I never really thought about before! I am looking forward to it!

My lessons & teaching style

I will adapt my lessons to what you are looking for. We can do conversation practice, grammar exercises, reading news articles, test preparation, etc. If you have your own requests or ideas for the lessons, I am very open to your ideas!
