Good day, everyone. I'm Jean. I'm a native Vietnamese speaker with a Southern accent. Being a lifelong learner, I constantly immerse myself in learning and researching to pursue my relentless quest for knowledge. My current areas of interest and exploration are language, graphic design, and healthcare. I also enjoy socializing with different people from all over the world as I believe that being exposed to diverse cultures will contribute distinct flavors to my life experience.Me as a Teacher
Personally, I consider myself a patient and dedicated tutor. My goal is to ensure that what my students learn from me is beneficial to them, both socially and academically. That's why my lessons are attentively designed to be practical and interactive. I have assisted many students who struggled to learn languages for a very long time, so I truly understand the difficulties they've encountered and the endeavors they've made. Above all, I allow my students to make and learn from their mistakes. Because making mistakes is the key to making progress.My lessons & teaching style
Every individual learns differently, so my approach is not the same for everyone. I'm willing to adjust my style to your need and proficiency. However, conversation practice is highly recommended in my class. You can always tell me what you want to discuss and how you want to be exposed to the language, and then we can figure out together which method works best for our tutoring class. Also, I encourage daily practice because it is an integral part of language learning and it helps you maintain the momentum.My teaching material

I had a great lesson with Jean and highly recommend her. She was on time, professional and flexible. I let her know I do have some knowledge, so she asked me questions to find my level and where to start (without wasting my time). Jean explained everything clearly as we went, so everything was easy to follow and understand. She is great and I will book more lessons with Jean! Thanks :)

A very fun lesson! I enjoyed talking with Jean a lot. She was very helpful and was able to translate/assist me in both English and Vietnamese. She had a very easy to understand accent and was courteous enough to ask me if I was okay with the speed she was using!
