I received my CELTA Diploma (Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults) in 2015 and have been teaching privately in Spain since that time. My classes are mostly 1-1 with students who need a little extra support in expressing themselves more confidently.My lessons & teaching style
My classes are relaxed and informal with a focus on YOU as the student communicating in English through improving your speaking & writing skills.
I maintain a comfortable balance between "fluency and accuracy", that's to say, some days we'll focus on precise and correct grammar, speech and pronunciation and other days the focus will be more on allowing you to express yourself without interruption!
Some days we'll follow some simple materials, and others we'll speak about topics relevant to your daily life and goals for English, as well as "current events" happening in the world.
Occasionally you'll get some writing homework, to help put what you've learned in class into practice.My teaching material

part-time private English Tutor Hughes Language SchoolI have personal experience teaching English as a foreign language, both in person and online due to the pandemic when all my classes shifted to video calls.
My students have ranged from teenagers, adults, exam preparation up to retirees wishing to improve their English for travelling.
