Hi! I’m Andrea and I’m from Colombia! I love meeting and having fun conversations with new people. If you want to improve your fluency, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, it’s important that you speak as much as you can to expand your vocabulary everyday. I can help kids and adults who want to learn grammar, practice reading, writing, common phrases or simply talk about any subject they are interested in, in order to develop their confidence with the language.Me as a Teacher
I believe that practice makes perfect, and I have learned that throughout my years of learning and studying languages. I consider myself a fun teacher, a friend who you can have a casual conversation with, and will also correct you in the most empathetic way.
For my clases with kids, I offer tutoring, homework, pronunciation tactics, test preparation, lessons base on travels and culture and a lot of conversation practice.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is very interactive and supportive. I am highly adaptable, I can’t say I prefer one teaching method, I think every student is different and have different learning skills so I adapt and approach everyone in the most transparent and empathic way according to their needs, whether they are beginners or advanced students, kids or adults.
In class, we will practice pronunciation, discuss articles, current world events, practice writing, reading and speaking a lot.
