****MY LAST DAY ON ITALKI is FEB 28, please message me for questions**** Hello! I am from southern California and currently live in Italy. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my dogs, and exploring the world. I am currently learning Italian so I understand how difficult it can be to learn a new language. I believe immersing yourself in the language and culture is the best way to learn from mistakes and improve your language skills. I enjoy that sensation when you finally "master" a skill without hesitation (like speaking in a certain tense or about a certain subject), you think back about all of the struggles and realize how much you have improved!

Me as a Teacher

I would like to learn what type of learner YOU are so we can better understand what types of lessons we can have together. I have a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language certificate) so I can provide materials to improve grammar, reading, and writing/listening comprehension as well. I have experience working with people of all ages as well as people with developmental and cognitive disabilities. I am flexible, patient, and excited to help others like you!

My lessons & teaching style

Our lessons will have an easy flow and we can work towards your own desires. Please tell me what you are interested in learning or improving. If you are unsure of what areas you want to improve, all we have to do is start a normal conversation and I can suggest areas to work on such as pronunciation or vocabulary.
