About Me

Hi! My name is Berivan and I am a native English speaker from England, U.K. I have recently graduated from university where I studied English Literature and History which are my favourite subjects to talk about! Since graduating, I have been travelling and teaching around the world, exploring new places and practising my language skills. My favourite thing about teaching is that I get to meet new people, and so I am looking forward to learning about you and your culture!

Me as a Teacher

I have a 150 TEFL Certificate and over 3 years of freelance English teaching experience where I delivered conversational based English lessons to students from around the world. From my own experience, I find that the most efficient way to learn a language is through conversational practice as students can immerse themselves in their target language in a way that is both natural and relevant to their language needs and goals.

My lessons & teaching style

Learning a new language can be difficult and daunting, and so my teaching style is very patient and friendly. Through casual and fun conversation we can practice your conversational fluency skills, practical English usage, pronunciation, and vocabulary building. My lessons are personalised towards my student's needs and so we can discuss any topics that are interesting to you and relevant to your language goals.
