Hello everyone!
My name is Elif, I'm here to teach both English and Turkish. I was born and raised in Turkey and I'm currently located in capital of the Turkey which is Ankara. Some of my hobbies; listening to music, reading, laerning new languages. Additionally, I'm passionate about travelling, meeting new people from different cultures. Italki is my way to meet people from all around the world, and help them in their language journey. If you have different hobies from mine, I will be happy to learn about them from you. As a community tutor, I believe that the best way to learn new language is with lots of communication practice. I'm kind and patient person, so you can expect a relaxed environment where you will feel comfortable to learn and safe to ask questions. It's okay to make mistakes, my classroom is a space of no judgement, only encouragement. My desire is to make you feel comfortable to speak as much as possible and being not afraid to make mistakes. We will go at your pace and center the lesson around your needs and preferences. I want you to have best possible experience while achieving all of your goals.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are generally informal and centred around conversation practice. Topics can include travel, food, different cultures, current affairs, movies or anything else. I'm definetely flexible and would love to adapt the topic, level of structure and level of difficulty based on each person's individual needs and preferences. I use variety of resources appropriate for English or Turkish learners at every level. At the end of the lesson, I provide a document with vocabulary, error corrections, suggestions and tips that you can use to track your progress and improve language skills.My teaching material

Elif is 100% the best conversation practice teacher I've had on iTalki. I cannot reccomend her more. She is great at conversation, making you feel comfortable and has really helped improve my Turkish speaking skills by tailoring specific conversation topics to my level of Turkish. I had the pleasure of studying with Elif as my Turkish language teacher. Not only is she incredibly friendly, but she's also a genuinely interesting person with a great attitude. Her background in Psychology really shines through in how empathetic and understanding she is with her students. Additionally, she's always very respectful, which makes for a comfortable learning environment. On top of all that, I have to say that Elif is quite stunning - her look is just as charming as her personality! Overall, if you're looking for a fantastic Turkish teacher, I highly recommend Elif.

Lessons with Elif are very helpful to strengthen my language skills. Elif creates an atmosphere in which speaking freely comes naturally without feeling stressed or anxious.
She successfully encourages me to talk and always finds good topics to talk about. Elif adjusts her language, vocabulary and speed rate to my level, so it's challenging but not too hard to follow and understand her.
I can highly recommend Elif as Turkish teacher!

Elif is a very warm, smart and encouraging conversation partner! I thought my Turkish was very limited, but with her I can just freely speak my mind about everything under the sun and it always goes well. After a few classes I'm much more confident about my Turkish speaking.
