Hello, my name is Marie. I am 21 years old and I love to learn new languages and thereby get to know other cultures. Therefore, I decided to do an educational degree to be able to teach languages. I love to read, I'm interested in art, and like to travel. Apart from that, I enjoy dancing as well as other sports such as volleyball, Zumba, and yoga.
I just finished my one-year-long stay abroad in Valencia, Spain. The study abroad period in Spain showed me once again how amazing it is to be able to speak foreign languages and how important frequent practice is.Me as a Teacher
I am already studying a Master of Education degree (future English and Spanish teacher). Additionally, I obtained a certificate to teach German as a second/foreign language (DaZ/DaF).
I have been working as a tutor for four years now. I have worked with pupils of primary schools, high school students, and adults studying at university or in vocational training.
In my degree, I also had several classes on TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign language). Of course, I will integrate the knowledge I acquired in these classes into my lessons here in italki.My lessons & teaching style
I am teaching English and German classes here in italki. On the one hand, my lessons can focus on pure conversation, in which we talk about different interesting topics. We can also turn to literature and discuss different texts. Content-wise, the lessons are quite flexible and can be adapted to the topics that interest you.
