I am a musician, ski instructor and EFL teacher currently living in Canada, who is passionate about learning and teaching languages! In September 2022 I gained a CELTA qualification (received Pass A - Distinction).
I graduated with First Class Honours in Music and spent a year abroad studying at Strasbourg Conservatoire (La HEAR).
I have lived in Germany and France, so I am very good at communicating so others can understand me and also understand the frustrations of learning a language - I have been in your shoes!
I am passionate about the outdoors and music (my life long dream is to travel the world in a converted van), and I love learning about different people and places!Me as a Teacher
*British accent* and CELTA qualified (Cambridge Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) - I have had experience teaching English to multilingual classes.
Despite having worked as an Assistant Teacher at a primary school, most of my language experience has been with adults and I was an active member of language exchange groups at my previous university.
I strive to create a very relaxed and friendly learning environment where you can choose the focus point.
My aim is that you will go away with pleasant memories from our conversations which will make you enjoy learning English even more!My lessons & teaching style
I am currently only teaching adults, and my conversational lessons will suit Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced learners (A2 - C2) looking to gain confidence in their English language skills.My teaching material
