I am Şebnem, a native Turkish speaker and Turkish Language Teacher for Foreigners. I am a certified and experienced Turkish Language Teacher for foreigners.

I 've been giving face to face (group lessons) and online sessions (one-to-one and group lessons) for five years mostly to adult learners (university students and business people) including teenagers between the ages of 12 - 18.
I speak a good command of English, Chinese and currently I'm learning Arabic as well.
In addition to learning foreign languages, my other hobbies are traveling, spending time with my friends in nature, photography, reading and copywriting.Me as a Teacher
I am a fun, energetic, kind and patient teacher. I would love to help you practicing your Turkish Language in a relaxed, gamified and interactive atmosphere. I'm using Web 2 Tools and digital games very often during my online classes in order for you to be an autonomous learner in an intractive learning environment.
In my lessons, I usually encourage my students to speak as much as possible no matter what their level of Turkish is. When you study with me, I will help you gain confidence in your conversational Turkish.

As a passionate lifetime learner and an experienced foreign language instructor, I think, gamification is the most important part of teaching and games are the essential component of a fun and interactive learning for all ages.
So, during our online Turkish lessons, for adult learners, we're mostly using the curriculum of the "New Istanbul Turkish For International Students Course Book" (last edition). I have online access to the teacher edition of this book and I ask my students to buy its hardcopy version.
In addition to the course books and nteractive digital games during our class, I am preparing a Padlet for each student that includes many different visual and audio materials.My teaching material

Sebnem is a natural born teacher. She is patient and engaging and moves at the perfect pace for me. It’s clear that she puts a lot of work into the resources that she creates so it is easy and fun to study between classes. Learning a language can be intimidating but Sebnem is so bubbly and compassionate that she takes the stress out of it all. I couldn’t recommend her more! :)
