Greetings to all. 🙌 If you are looking for an experienced and certified Tibetan teacher then you are on the right profile! I am a native Tibetan speaker and currently, I am living in Dharamsala, India. I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree (Shastri Degree) in Tibetan Grammar and Literature, along with English and Buddhist Philosophy from the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, Varanasi, and my Master’s degree from Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Gangtok, Sikkim. I also work as a translator from English to Tibetan, and vice versa. My goal with teaching and life in general is to provide people with more value than they expect. 🙂Me as a Teacher
For over five years, I've been instructing Tibetan language online to individuals who aren't native speakers. Throughout this experience, I've covered a spectrum of subjects, ranging from Classical and standard Tibetan to colloquial speech, grammar, reading, and calligraphy, catering to students at all skill levels. With a roster exceeding 125 students, I've witnessed their progression from novice to adept, a testament to the collaborative efforts invested by both student and instructor. My commitment lies in demystifying Tibetan pronunciation, everyday usage, and overall fluency, tailored to each student's learning objectives.

I am a relaxed teacher that is dedicated to your success in learning Tibetan. I will set you homework that will help you to solidify what you have learned. We can study videos, texts, audios, and other content you find interesting. Norbu is hands down simply the best language teacher I have had in my life I couldn't recommend him highly enough he is thoughtful intelligent caring kind and just an incredibly inspiring teacher if you want to learn Tibetan I couldn't imagine a better teacher
