Hey there! I am Alianny and I originally come from the Dominican Republic ๐ฉ๐ด but grew up most of my life in NYC. Coming up, I enjoyed experiencing new things and learning new languages and being generally curious about travel, other cultures and the world that connects us all. Now I am living in Milan and learning Italian, and soon I will be a trilingual so it is never too late to learn something new!Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I am quite patient and attentive, intuitive to your needs and love to enrich learning experiences with real world examples, discipline and a touch of humor. I will be able to foster growing abilities in you so that you do not grow stagnant and find ways to spark up the learning if/when it does.My lessons & teaching style
During lessons, do not find it strange if we venture off into your passions and find examples in the active language you are trying to learn. For example we might listen to music from that country or culture, learn about artists, explore thoughtful historical moments or find something that will connect you deeper into what you are learning. We can learn key words, based on the context you plan on using your language in and learn how to navigate common conversations that might happen in that environment. If you are the homework type, we can also prepare some materials to help you practice in between lessons or your next big event.My teaching material
