Hi! My name is Judith, a Dutch woman located in Bali (+6 hours Europe time) for most of the year after traveling and living in different countries for 3 years. I studied Interdisciplinary Social Science followed by a masters in Youth Studies in Utrecht. After that I worked for 4 years for the local government and also a public health organization. Living in Bali allows me to live my life to the fullest and make friends from all over the world. I love meeting new people with different backgrounds and cultures, that's one of the reasons why I started teaching Dutch. Other interests of mine are photography, sports/strength training, reading, listening to podcasts, and learning new languages.Me as a Teacher
I am a very personal and happy teacher. I love to make learning fun and interactive. I like to take it step by step and focus on one or maybe two things at the time. As a teacher I am very patient. I also love to hear about your life and share about my own! Everyone has a story to tell. We can talk about anything: news, television shows, technology, psychology, podcasts, traveling, relationships/dating/parenting, or other topics that interests you.My lessons & teaching style
I am happy to work towards your language goals using different tools, like PDF files, podcasts, news articles or videos. You can book me for a single class where we practice a casual conversation, or we work together for a longer period to work towards your learning goals. I teach both students and adults. I provide extensive feedback and I give you small homework assignments to measure your progress and to see what we can work on next lesson. Starting June 1st 2023 I will be available European mornings (7AM - 2PM) due to time difference (Singapore time zone). From this date onwards I am available 5 days a week. Please note that teaching here is my main source of income.My teaching material
