About Me

Hi!😊 I am teacher Lorie, I am 25 years old and I will be teaching English, Tagalog, and Cebuano. I was born and raised in the beautiful country, the Philippines where English and Filipino are the official languages. I graduated from Western Mindanao State University with the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education. I am a TEFL certified and, I’ve been a private tutor here at our place for almost a year teaching English, Filipino, Arts, and Mother Tongue. I love singing, reading, cooking, hiking, storytelling, and traveling.

Me as a Teacher

Teaching is my passion and I believe learning is an important way of being successful. As a teacher, I will ensure that my students are comfortable and having fun in learning different languages. I will use different learning materials that are interesting enough to arouse and sustain the interest of the student for the reason that it contributes to the attainment of my lesson, and I believe it helps to improve the student's abilities, skills, knowledge, and contribute to their overall development and upbringing. Furthermore, it helps student to develop competence, active participation, and confidence. Let us have fun together learning different languages.❤️

My lessons & teaching style

As a community tutor, I will ensure that the strategy I will use is effective and efficient enough in a way that you as my student will be able to achieve the learning that you expect from my class. My teaching style is to create a lively and friendly classroom environment. I will create a positive class atmosphere for students to feel engaged and motivated. Also, I am patient and approachable enough to listen and understand what my students are going through and they will never be pressured in my class. Through italki my goal is to help you speak English, Tagalog, and Cebuano with confidence.💕
