About Me

I have been a teacher for about 4/5 years now, where I taught English to all ages. I also have a TESOL certificate. For the last year I have started teaching Danish as my full time work, focusing on that over English teaching (though I still very much enjoy teaching English). As mentioned before, I have a deep passion for languages and have experience myself with learning a few, which I find to be a great advantage as a teacher! I fully understand what my students needs are but also acknowledge that every student is different and that we progress at different speeds in different ways. That's why I hope that we together can find the best way for YOU to learn Danish.My lessons & teaching style
Together we will discuss and go over what your expectations with learning Danish, are and what you expect of me as your teacher. We will evaluate your level and figure out together what kind of material would best suit your Danish learning Journey.
Some things that I can offer when having a lesson with me:
- I can assign homework and we can review it together the following class.
- I can provide a Word document with a list of the new vocabulary words we learned during class and more.
- We can study proper pronounciation and reading.
- Small talk/Discussion of different topics.

Savannah gave the opportunity to practise speaking, and it was great to have her feedback and insights into how words can be pronounced. Savannah also provided insights into the meaning and use of some phrases.

Somehow, miraculously, Savannah is able to follow the meandering path of my monologues and help me find the words I'm looking for. She also gave me good pointers for how to look up questions for some of the grammatical/structural questions that I have. Lastly, her explanation of dog, mon, and at undre sig were truly helpful!

I don’t know how an hour always goes so quickly. We talked about various things but then got down to the challenge of summarizing Den flyvende kuffert, a fairytale by H.C. Andersen. It went well and as always Savannah was very helpful and supportive.
