About Me
italki teacher since Jul 8, 2022
Hi! I'm Angelene from Philippines. I am a degree holder in Secondary Education with a specialization in Filipino which is my native language and graduated as Magna Cum Laude in our state college. I love teaching students that is why I pursued to get a diploma in this field. Aside from teaching, I'm also a fan of music and cooking as well as a past time of mine.
Me as a Teacher
I'm a dedicated teacher whose top priority is the learning of my students. For me, the most important thing is making sure my pupils understand firmly a topic or lesson before proceeding on to another. I am eager to build a good connection with my students since I believe that a strong teacher-student relationship enhances the learning experience and it makes the learning more fun and enjoyable.
My lessons & teaching style
I prefer a blend of teacher-centered and student-centered teaching approaches. I like to simplify my lessons so that my pupils may acquire them as quickly as possible. Moreover, I would rather have a classroom that is conducive to learning. I do prefer a student-friendly classroom. I aim to provide students with a chill approach in order to take their learning lightly.
