Like many, I'm learning on my own with some combination of NRK series, DuoLingo, and whatever resources I can find online. In just a short trial lesson, Sara was very helpful in assessing my level, attenuating expectations and creating a structure on the whiteboard of what I have learned and where that information inheres within the larger structure of, say, possessive pronouns. Seeing it all written out as we spoke, and her patience and eagerness to follow seemingly digressive questions about "why does the Norwegian language do ______?" was just the sort of attitude that makes you feel comfortable asking a question, or taking a risk to try to say something you aren't fully sure of. Sarah was fantastic at meeting me where I’m at with my Norwegian level! She was very helpful, supportive, gave great feedback and had a lesson ready to go! Sarah is a natural at teaching. She's prepared at each lesson, provides a good blend of grammar theory and practical application, and gives effective feedback. I'm four lessons in and I'm very satisfied with my progression. The speed and difficulty are spot on.
