About Me

Hello! My name is Nikolina and I was born and raised in Serbia. I'm a graduate student of English Language and Literature, focusing on translation (Serbian-English-Italian). I'm passionate about languages, different cultures, travelling and art. For the past few years, I've been active in organizing social/language events in the city I live in and visiting many exhibitions connected to different fields of study. I am a communicative person and I have a high desire for professional success and that motivates me a lot.

Me as a Teacher

I've been teaching Serbian to foreigners successfully for more than four years and would like to continue doing so. I successfully organize various work activities and feel very capable in presenting and explaining. As a teacher, I'm patient, adaptable, open-minded and like to follow my student's pace of learning and accepting new content.

My lessons & teaching style

I make my own presentations and documents for the lessons and use many books with tasks. Also, I like to use many platforms, for instance, Google docs, Quizlet, etc. If you're a beginner, I like to start from the scratch, alphabet and basic grammar and then expand from there, while trying to always make you speak and have fun creating the sentences by yourself, to make it easier for you. In case you already speak Serbian and want to improve it, I always have some fun games, examples, quizzes and tests, as well as interesting questions that can be used as topics for our conversation practice.
