About Me

Hi, I am Idalien, nice to meet you. I was born and raised in The Netherlands. After I graduated in Interior Design I decided to spread my wings. For the last 15 years I have been traveling the world and I have lived & worked in many different countries. I love discovering new cultures and languages. Through meeting amazing people along the way I have developed a passion for languages and decided to start teaching my mother tongue Dutch to others. I'm very much looking forward meeting you and getting your Dutch up & running.

Me as a Teacher

As a community tutor I love to guide you towards your goals and find a way that works for you in order to learn the language that you want. I'm very open in my communication and love to inspire you to get the most out of your sessions. I work organized and interactive. We all have our favorite way of learning and I would love to discover together what works best for you.

My lessons & teaching style

According to your own personal needs I develop lessons that meet your goals. I find it very important to establish your favorite way of learning and build from there. Learning a language can be overwhelming but through organized lessons with some fun build in, I will make sure you get the best out of each lesson. I find it also very valuable to create a safe place for you where you can be yourself without any pressure or expectations.
