I am a highly communicative person and am quite tenacious when it comes to educating other kids about Afrikaans. As a teacher, I want every student I work with to become passionate about the language. I am really determined to give every pupil my absolute best effort since I firmly believe that poor preparation leads to poor achievement.My lessons & teaching style
I teach using a visual and repetition method, which requires the student to first see the image and then hear how to pronounce the word in the picture. For instance, I might show a picture of a lion and then explain that in Afrikaans it is called a Leeu (lion), and then it's their turn to try saying it. Then we all repeat it.My teaching material
