About Me

My name is Joyce Nyambura .I am 32 years old, born and brought up in Kenya where i reside at the moment.I am a Certified Public Accountant by profession where i graduated in the year 2015 .In addition to this, i poses competence in computer packages.Recently i acquired a TEFL certificate from teachers record. Concerning my work experience, i have worked in various position since since year 2013.I have worked as an Administrative Assistant, Accountant in Water Company and a Teacher for two years for both adult and children.My hobbies include interacting with people who have different culture, making new friends, traveling, cooking traditional food and above all i love wild animals.

Me as a Teacher

I'm not a teacher by professional by i am a teacher by talent.I have taught both the adult and children and acquired alot of skills in teaching.I have also learnt how to handle student with different IQ to ensure that by the end of the day all student achieve their goals.I must say that i have a passion in teaching and i really enjoy do it.I prefer having a relaxed class.

My lessons & teaching style

Different lessons call for different teaching styles.There are some of the lessons that will require me use Authority style where especially where there are larger number of adults.In some case i find other styles such as delegator quite effective when it comes to group work and practical lessons.Another style that i commonly use is the facilitator style especially when it comes to children as it enable me to assess their level of understanding.
