I am a South African born English and Afrikaans native speaker, who loves teaching and self-development. I am passionate about improving myself and every student I come into contact with. I feel my English teaching skills will transfer well in teaching Afrikaans.Me as a Teacher
I am a patient, kind and caring teacher who enjoys building a trusting and good relationship with my students. I have been an English teacher for over 4 years now. I started my teaching journey in China and taught in a kindergarten for over 2 years. I also taught in a training school, teaching teenagers and young adults for 2 years.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style in Afrikaans will be a mixture of informal and formal teaching methods. I will be using PPTs and Video files to introduce the student to the language until they are comfortable to have role playing and scenario activities.My teaching material
