Hey, I'm Sam, I live in Greece, and I'm a native Greek speaker. I am also a PhD researcher in the University of Leeds in Creative Writing and Gender Studies. I am passionate about literature, creative writing, feminism and gender studies, LGBT+ issues (I'm non-binary) and philosophy. I am a big goofball, I love writing, reading, daydreaming, watching comedy, experimenting with different aesthetics, DIY, traveling and learning about different cultures. I can't wait to speak Greek with you/your child, teach you conversational skills, work on your grammar and vocabulary! My priority is to create an inclusive, safe, and fun space for you to talk about anything you want in Greek! I can also help you prepare for a job interview, or with academic work in Greek. I am fluent in English and I speak some French and Spanish, so hopefully this will help us communicate better in the beginning! I don't want to be bored myself, so I guarantee that we are going to have a good time, working with diverse, interactive material and focusing on your own interests and needs.My lessons & teaching style
I have experience in both typical and non-typical education methods from various seminars and years of volunteering with young people in human rights groups. I LOVE teaching children and I have experience with teaching Philosophy to middle school students, and I'm really excited to share my language skills and interests with adults too. Based on your needs, we can agree on a more or less structured model of language learning, or we can just work on your conversation skills.
