Native Hungarian community tutor who lived in different countries (UK, Ireland, USA, Austria), and loves to connect with people from different cultures.Me as a Teacher
I teach young adults (16 years old and above. No kids, sorry! ) and adults from intermediate to proficiency levels.
I am patient and kind and will do my best to hold a safe space for you to feel comfortable and relaxed during our lessons. That is the optimal state to learn a language.It should be fun, too.
You will be encouraged to speak from day one.
Let's learn naturally as children do - by listening and speaking! I will explain grammar if needed but remember I am a community tutor, so if you want structured grammar lessons, please turn to a professional teacher.My lessons & teaching style
I offer 2 lesson types:
1. General conversation practice
These will be based on the plan we create for you.
It will be tailored to your own individual goals and needs. Bring a topic you are passionate about and we will work on that topic. You will learn this way easier because you are invested in it emotionally, thus remembering it better and for longer.
2. Conversations with a focus
eg. online marketing basics, or job interview preps, or benefits of a plant-based life style
or spiritual awakening, or caring for vulnerably elderly family members
In both lesson types, you will get weekly assignments, and we will go through your assignments together to see what is to be learned from them.My teaching material
