Hi! My name is Camille, from Philippines. I love listening to music and watching movies in my spare time. I also enjoy exploring new places and trying out local coffees. I'm always up for a new adventure and I love meeting new people.
I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and interned as an ESL Teacher for 6 months in Vietnam, where I taught English to students of various levels. Then, I worked for four years as an Assistant Teacher/ Subject Teacher (Arts and English) in an international school in Qatar. Since childhood, it has been my dream to work in this industry and help people learn new things.
Me as a Teacher
It's tough to generalize what it's like to be a teacher, but here are the basics: I am lucky enough to have a job that I enjoy. I am passionate about teaching people my mother tongue Filipino (Tagalog), as well as English. I want to teach people who are interested in learning Filipino (Tagalog) and English, but I also want to be there for those who are just starting out.
My lessons & teaching style
As a teacher, my number one priority is making sure my students are learning in a way that works best for them. That means being willing to adjust my teaching style to meet the needs of each individual student. Whether it's making things more interactive and fun, or simply being more informative, it's all about helping my students succeed.
