I have several years of experience in teaching languages.
As an eternal language learner myself, I know how exciting and nerve-wracking it can feel to start learning a new language from scratch.
I know how frustrating it can be to scratch your head at a billboard or miss out on the lyrics of a loved song in your target language; how it feels to want to improve vocabulary and expression skills; how intimidating the "G" word ('grammar') can sound.
Learning languages requires patience, courage and perseverance. You have my full sympathy and understanding, and my honest appreciation for the journey you decided to embark upon; and I am at your disposal on your quest to learn Ivrit.My lessons & teaching style
You'll find that, as we say in Hebrew, I am quite "זורם" (flowing, adapting) when it comes to teaching.
We can work with conversation, songs, videos, cooking recipes, images, short texts, vocabulary lists, spelling bees, funny word associations...
We can also either completely ignore, or thoroughly delve into, the world of grammar, linguistics and language structures. We can talk about the history of the language, roots, constructs, etc. - or just dive right into conversation without any of that.
