About Me

I went from having English as my mother tongue at 8 changing to Afrikaans due to my town not having a English school. I could only speak Afrikaans, but not write or read. So I understand that learning a language can be hard. Therefore, I am patient and understanding of the struggles. I will bring positive attitudes to my classes. My classes will be fun and engaging. My goal for my students are to be comfortable and motivated in their learning journey.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons will focus on conversation practice and improving pronunciation. I will correct any errors were needed. We can work on structuring correct sentences. Some lesson may also include focusing on reading comprehension, to be able to understand what you are reading in Afrikaans. We can learn basic words used in everyday life.My teaching material
