Hello everyone, I'm Mira, or Tra My in Vietnamese, and I'm a 24-year-old language enthusiast. I'm currently working as a freelance interpreter and Vietnamese and English teacher in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Apart from English and Vietnamese, I'm currently learning Mandarin and Spanish hoping that soon enough I will be able to converse in these 2 beautiful languages. Together with languages, I love traveling and exploring new cultures. This is a proverb that I really like: "A fish can't see the water". In fact, none of us can unless we jump out of the water, go somewhere completely different, talk to other fishes, and other people and reflect on ourselves.

Me as a Teacher

Not only a teacher, I am also a learner myself. I came to understand that studying a foreign language offers more advantages than we sometimes realize, especially our health. Our brain loves new things. For languages, it doesn't matter how much you got, there are always new things. Being an interpreter, I understand how important communication is and how crucial it is to be able to understand each other in the same language. It doesn't matter how good my interpretation is, it can't have the same effect as if the parties speak directly to each other. I hope I'm fortunate to be a part of your journey of learning Vietnamese whether you're learning for working, travel to or living in Vietnam.
