About Me

Hello! My name i Vadim, i am a student of philosophy and social sciences, and i have spent most of my life in israel. I am a VERY curious person, and i love learning just about anything that can help me make more sense of this world. I am also an outdoors person, and in my spare time i like hiking and camping out. Nothing beats sleeping under the stars next to a little campfire to keep me warm. I also enjoy art (especially photography), literature and music. One of my favorite activities in the world is meeting new people from different places, to learn about other cultures and to explore different perspectives. I see teaching on italky as a wonderful opportunity to do just that.

Me as a Teacher

I love teaching! I am a very driven person, and my mission is to help you learn Hebrew and reach your goals. With that being said, I am also very open and flexible person, and I believe that different people learn in different ways, and I put great effort in customizing my lessons according to every student's needs. I understand that learning a language is tough, I have experienced the struggle myself and have found that a teacher should be patient and understanding in order to keep the student motivated. I believe that learning a language should be engaging and interesting, regardless of what language you learn.

My lessons & teaching style

At first we will understand the students needs and figure out how to create a meaningful and specific learning experience. We will practice speech through conversations on different topics, according top the students interests. We will use simulations of real-life situations and gain experience in dealing with them. We will expand vocabulary and practice it. We will learn the rules of grammar. We will practice reading and writing. We will learn about Israeli culture and society. in my teaching I use various materials such as quizzes, vocabulary documents, simple and advanced texts to read, music and videos.
