Hi there! I am Julika, Karma Chödrön is my Tibetan name. I am German and grew up in Italy. I lived for 4 years in Asia immersed in Tibetan communities in Kathmandu, Delhi and Dharamsala where I learned Tibetan language, history, poetry, grammar and philosophy in Tibetan with Tibetans. Since 2014 I am working as a Tibetan translator and interpreter in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions. I hold an MA in Tibetology and Buddhist Studies from Vienna university. I am also a mindfulness and yoga teacher.

As a teacher you will find me to be precise and also fun (hopefully). I like to give my students homework so that your progress will be faster. Of course it is up to you how much you want to engage. Previously I have taught Tibetan as a tutor at Vienna University and in Buddhist Centers.
I teach classical and colloquial Tibetan.
