Hello everyone!!!
I am originally from New York but now live in beautiful Belgrade, Serbia where I teach teenagers and adults the joys of English while also collecting smiles, laughter and enjoyment along the way!!
I am a certified TEFL Online English Instructor with over 5 years of experience teaching English both in the academic and online environment with Bachelor's degree in English Language and literature.
I am an easygoing, chill, caring individual that delivers a specific personalised approach to my lessons. I believe lessons should be enjoyed and should not feel like a task but rather and activity or Hobby.

I have a Bachelor degree in English language and literature, as well as 5 years of online experience teaching English and Serbian as my native languages to non-native speakers from South America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. I am Certified as an Advanced TESOL/TEFL Instructor. My TESOL Certification specializing has helped me to think of unique, interesting ways to teach languages to Non-Native Speakers. I really like connecting with each of my students and one of my basic principles in my teaching method is that it needs to be tailored, as much as possible, to students interests and current abilities.My lessons & teaching style
My experience teaching languages to people from all around the world has shown me that the best and fastest way to learn a new language is by immersion. My first lesson with Maja was great. I am badly in need of conversation practice and she provided that in a very friendly, relaxed and well-planned setting. She is totally fluent in both Serbian and English and can easily help with translation. Looking forward to working with her in future.

Ovo je moj drugi komentar na srpskom na iTalki. Želeo bih da se zahvalim Maji za prvu lekciju. Ona tečno priči srpski i engleski i potpuno odgovara mojim potrebama.
