Hi there! My name is Aimilia (Emily in English) and I was born and raised in Greece! Well, I'm still here! I teach Greek for the last 3 years. It started as a hobby and ended as something really cool to do! I'm so happy when I finally get to see my students speaking and understanding Greek. It gives me motivation to keep going! I would say that I am a very simple teacher! I'm always trying to make the lessons funny, educational and ofcurse less boring. I don't like to put pressure on my students so, I'm always trying to understand the difficulties they may have. For me, it is really important to be next to my students, as a human first and then as a teacher!My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are funny, at least that's what my students say, but also strict (sometimes). We do homeworks, tests ofcurse (what kind of teacher am I if I don't have tests?!), we read and we speak a lot. I'm gonna be honest with you, Greek isn't an easy language but if you learn how to speak and read, you are gonna be a master!My teaching material

It is my third lesson with Aimilia and I can see that she really tries to help by bringing new topics and new vocabulary into the conversation. The lesson is very motivating and it is a safe place to commit all sorts of mistakes, which will be promptly corrected by her.

This was my second lesson with Aimilia and I enjoyed it very much. She's a very kind and fun person. The class was interesting and she did not shy away from teaching something outside of what she had planned when I asked her because I had already done what she had planned with a previous tutor. I can recommend her as a teacher!

I had a very nice first experience with Aimilia!
She's knowledgeable and seems passionate about teaching Greek. She provided me with some feedback about my current Greek level and wrote down some notes with words and expressions I struggled with that she sent me right after.
She seems very genuine and fun to be around which is a big positive because I look for a fun learning experience when studying a language which she certainly provided me with today.
I recommend her as a Greek teacher and I'm looking forward to our next lessons!
