About Me

Hello everyone! I am Szandi from Budapest. Nice to meet you. I graduated from university two years ago in economy and tourism field, since then I work in the tourism industry. I love traveling, learning about new cultures, watching movies, taking picture and baking. I also like learning languages, so I can speak English, Japanese and a bit of cantonese. I would like to teach hungarian to anyone who are interested in , so please do not hesitate to book a trial lesson with me.

Me as a Teacher

I am a native Hungarian speaker with some teaching experiences from the past. I would like to develop together with the students. I would like to give them all the knowledge I have, and help them to reach the goals they want. Also I wish to reach my goals with applying to be a community teacher, such as learn more about private tutoring, develop as a person and as a teacher.

My lessons & teaching style

I have an interactive and versatile teaching style. I would like to know my students first , them goals and discuss together about the style of the lesson. I would like to teach them in an effective mode, but also at the same time I would like that my students enjoy my lessons and learn more freely and specified on topic they wanna learn or be stronger from a specific part of the language. Also in every lesson I can make different topic and teaching them the most important keywords and sentences.

1 Hungarian lesson

I had my first lesson with Szandi today and it was a fantastic experience. Szandi is an excellent teacher who has a true passion for the Hungarian language and culture. During our lesson, Szandi explained the concepts in a way that was easy to understand and provided practical examples to help me retain the information. I felt comfortable asking questions and Szandi was patient and encouraging. I am looking forward to continuing my studies with Szandi and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Hungarian.
