Hi! My name is Arsel. I am a native Turkish and English speaker. I am from Turkiye, and I grew up in the United States. At the age of 14 I received a scholarship to study music at a boarding arts high school in California. After 4 years of studying in Cali, I got scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and graduated from there with Honors Degree as a Sound Designer.
Now I live on a tropical island in Thailand, teaching Turkish and English, playing the saxophone, and working on various sound design projects.Me as a Teacher
As I traveled the world, I got the opportunity to teach English and Turkish to people at all ages. I focus on getting to know my students and helping them speak their new language confidently and comfortably. There is nothing like having conversations with my students in their new language. By studying with me, you will feel confident and comfortable speaking Turkish in no time!My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are all about communication. We will be talking talking to each other, telling stories, and sharing thoughts and ideas with each other. In this casual hangout environment, we practice how the language is really used in our daily life instead of memorizing adjectives, verbs..etc. Whenever you have questions, we will dive deeper into that subject and make sure you understand it well. Language is there to communicate, and that is exactly what we will be doing in our lessons.My teaching material
