Hello everyone! 🐱 My name is Thu and I have been teaching Vietnamese for a couple of years now. I live in Hanoi with 3 cats, Key - Fish - Sweet. I am an avid traveler and foodie as well. That's why I can share practical information about my country such as the tastiest food, the most remarkable sights - often off the beaten track, the best travel time, and the must-do activities in Vietnam. 🍉 Tên mình là Thu và mình đã có hơn hai năm giảng dạy tiếng Việt. Mình đang sống tại Hà Nội cùng ba bé mèo tên là Ki - Cá - Ngọt. Mình là người đam mê du lịch và đồ ăn. Do đó mình có thể chia sẻ cho bạn nhiều thông tin thú vị về đất nước của mình nếu bạn có ý định đến Việt Nam.

Me as a Teacher

👉🏻 I taught 1-on-1 and small classes mainly from intermediate to advanced levels. 👉🏻I like to take an active approach with my students and make sure that every lesson is well-prepared and thought out. I usually spend the first lesson getting to know the student, laying out their goals, and defining a general plan. I offer an array of lessons from general conversation to formal tutoring, details of which can be seen below.

📌 I include many interactive activities in my lessons, use a range of digital resources and try to keep class fun. My classes are safe, judgment-free spaces where I patiently work with my students to reach their goals.
