Ahoj! Jmenuju se Jana a jsem rodilá Češka. Ale jazykově jsem tak trochu odevšud. Mluvím anglicky, španělsky, japonsky a norsky. Tudíž naprosto chápu tvojí situaci. Ráda čtu a píšu krátké povídky, programuji nebo chodím po Britských pahorcích (když nemám nos zrovna zarytý ve flash cards 😁).
Hi! My name is Jana, and I was born in the Czech Republic. But language-wise? I'm kind of from almost everywhere. I can speak four other languages - Spanish, English, Japanese and Norwegian. So I fully understand your position. I like to read books and write short stories, code or go hiking in the British 'hills' (when I am not nose-deep in flash cards 😁).Me as a Teacher
Používám různé materiály. Záleží na tom, čeho chceš dosáhnout. Pro konverzační češtinu můžeme používat cokoliv od knih, přes filmy až po situace, ve kterých si se vyskytl/a. Pro začátečníky, kteří chtějí spíše pracovat na gramatice a slovní zásobě používám učebnice, jednodušší texty online ale i třeba videa.
I tend to use different materials depending on what you want to achieve. For conversational Czech for intermediate and advanced students, I use anything from books to movies and even situations that you were in that you need to understand better. For beginners, I use textbooks but also simpler texts online or videos.My lessons & teaching style
Lekce jsou připravené pro tvoje potřeby. Pro konverzace doporučuji styl plného ponoření (tzn. mluvit jen česky). Budeme se hlavně soustředit na mluvení a ke konci probereme fráze, slovíčka nebo gramatiku se kterými jsi měl/a potíže. Začátečníci mohou očekávat interaktivní hodiny soustředěné na gramatiku, slovíčka a výslovnost abys mohl/a začít komunikovat co nejdříve, vedené v AJ.
Lessons are tailored for you. For conversations, I recommend doing full immersion (i.e. speaking only in Czech). But if you prefer to combine Czech and English, that's ok too. We'll focus mainly on talking with a review at the end. Beginners can expect interactive lessons in EN aimed at getting you talking soon.My teaching material
