Hello, I am teacher Jael. I am a native speaker and a Swahili teacher who steers her students to excellence in languages. I hold a degree in Education Arts (English and Literature) which adequately prepared me with the necessary skills and knowledge for this job. I have the required competencies to enable you achieve your goals of learning a new language and speak like a native speaker. I enjoy watching movies, cooking, and trying out new recipes. I am a professionally certified teacher with experience over the past four years both online and in-class traditional learning. Languages form a huge aspect of our lives since we cannot express ourselves without a proper comprehension of it. I keep my lessons interactive, enjoyable and as entertaining as possible. I understand that every student has unique learning needs and interests hence I tailor my lessons around them. Fundamentally, I am a polite, loving and jovial teacher with a high regard for all students both kids and adults.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is straightforward. It is student-centered majorly focusing on the specific needs and interests of the student. Essentially, both the student and the teacher are involved in the planning and execution of the lessons. I assist my students to build their Swahili vocabulary and construct comprehensive sentences. Grammar, reading and writing also forms a significant part of the lessons. Additionally, I hold oral conversations to enable the students build communication confidence and become excellent speakers of Swahili. Lastly, I give assignments at the end of each lesson to help with evaluation before moving on to the next topic. I am looking forward to meeting you in class.My teaching material
