About Me
italki teacher since Mar 14, 2023
Hello! My name is Zuzanna, I was born and raised in Poland, currently living and studying in the Netherlands. I speak English in my day to day life, talking to my international friends, and in my university, as my course is in English. I study Arts, Culture and Media, I'm really passionate about films and books. I could introduce you to some of my favourite pieces and after getting to know you recommend something that you could love too! Polish is my native language, so now living abroad, I would love to have a chance to speak it more and have a glimpse of home more often.
Me as a Teacher
I have been living with English day to day since my high school years. I attended the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, in which I had to speak English in each of my classes. Nowadays, I study in English in my university, but of course I use Polish with my family and friends from home, keeping the language "active". I would say I'm a patient, calm person, who will be perfect as your teacher, if you're looking for a more informal but stimulating type of lessons, where we discuss our interests and lifestyles!
My lessons & teaching style
After getting to know your priorities, I will adjust my lessons to your needs. I can offer you conversations, in which we could both broaden our perspectives and you could improve your fluency! I have a lot of vocabulary-oriented materials and exercises I could introduce you to. Depending on your preference we will either take an organized route, with a bit of homework and grammar involved, or a more "relaxed" version of my classes where we focus on discussion and hobbies of yours! In both cases I will be recommending music, movies or articles (according to your taste) that you could read and discuss with me later.
