I'm Alex, a 19 year old music production student and a life explorer. I'm in love with all that has to do with storytelling - music, films, theatre etc. and I like to accept in my life challenges that let me grow and develop as a person as well.
One of my biggest needs in live is learning, especially the things related to my passions (now it's piano and composition!), and being able to observe my progress. And by this, it is easy for me to understand how important it may be for other people to have access to high-quality, pleasant and peaceful ways of learning. This understanding motivates me to develop as a teacher and create valuable learning experiences for those who desire them.Me as a Teacher
I'm just starting to have my first teaching experiences but what I find indispensable for a teacher to have is a capability and eagerness to communicate clearly, assertively and in a friendly way with everyone else, be it in or outside the classroom. Good communication comes from understanding other person's circumstances and being able to see things from their point of view, but it isn't something you learn once and then you just have it, you need to work on it everyday because everyone is different and will need a different approach. A really good teacher, in my opinion, should also be a great learner that never stops working on their weaknesses and having a curiosity.My lessons & teaching style
On my lessons I will focus on communication, helping my students to express themselves clearly and more and more precisely. I'd like to gently make you get out of your language comfort zone by proposing more advanced vocabulary and expression, correcting you (with no shaming!) and giving you feedback on your grammar. I will also take care of the atmosphere of the lessons, it is important for me to establish a good and healthy relationship with my students, based on mutual respect and acceptation, I would like everyone to feel comfortable on my classes independently of their beliefs, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity.
