Hi!!
My name is Hellen.
I like to meet, listen and talk with people from all over the world. I was born and raised in Suriname, an amazing tropical country in South America, where Dutch is spoken as the main language. So, my native language is Dutch!
I'm a great fan of music, nature and animals and I love children.
I can assure you that we will have a lot a fun and interesting topics to talk during my lesson.

Learning a language is all about making mistakes, so the best thing you can do is to be ready to laugh about it and we will have a great time!
The lessons can be adapted to your level, needs and any topic of interest can be discussed. Furthermore, I am more than willing to help you with grammar. I am a positive and patient person, and the most important thing is that you improve your Dutch, while having a good time.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are relaxed, be yourself during class and most importantly: You decide what we are going to do, they are being adapted to your wishes. We can just have a nice conversation, or I can help you with grammar.
During class we will also learn new vocabulary and train how to pronounce them. We can have conversations, discuss grammar or vocabulary exercises, listen to and discuss video or audio fragments or read texts or news articles together. . Together, we can make a plan so you will achieve your language goals!
