While I lack any formal teaching qualifications or experience, I have been using Italki as a student for years. Therefore, I'm well aware of the expectations of a student.
I think that it's important that a teacher does three things: number one, they are patient with their student; number two, they encourage their student to speak as much as possible; and number three, the teacher writes down the mistakes that the student made so that the student can see where they went wrong in order to learn from their mistakes.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons shouldn't be seen as "lessons" as such, but rather conversational practice. I find that speaking is often the thing that language learners, at least those who are of a beginner or intermediate level, struggle with the most. This is perfectly normal as most people that are learning a language don't have someone with whom they can practice their target language with on a regular basis. Therefore, I'm offering to be your conversation partner to allow you to practice speaking about whatever topic interests you.5.0

Even though it was the first class for me with David, However I felt so much confidence, I am feeling that David is a very patient person and has a very good way to correct me, he is catching all my mistake then correct it at the end of the lesson writing the mistake senescence along with the correct sentence, I will continue classes with David, Also i am feeling like I am talking to a friend which makes me more confident
