My name is Marieke Burness and I'm from South Africa. I am 33 years old. I have 8 years teaching experience. I am a certified TEFL teacher and I'm busy with my Montessori Diploma. I have a passion for Teaching.Me as a Teacher
I am patient and kind and make make meaningful connections with my students. It is very important for me to see my students are comfortable enough to engage with me. I always encourage my students to try the best you can. I always go the extra mile to help my students where I can. I will adapt my teaching and communication style according to my students need. I love helping students to reach their full potential and reaching their goals.My lessons & teaching style
In my lessons , I will assess my students needs and goals. My form of teaching would be through conversations. We would incorporate short exercises or quizzes to improve their spelling, grammar or vocabulary. If my students prefer informal lessons , we will have conversations on what they interested in so that they become more comfortable when speaking and also help their pronunciation. I will give homework if that is something the students are eager to do.My teaching material
