Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Feyza and I grew up in Sakarya, Türkiye.
Turkish Language is my mother language and it has been my passion since I was in high school. I love reading Turkish poems and it inspired me to study in Turkish Language and Literature Department at Sakarya University.
I got my Teaching Turkish Language Certificate in my third year of university and I did an internship at the university's language teaching center for one and a half years. After I graduated, I started working as a Turkish language lecturer for foreign students.
I have been teaching both online and offline lessons for 3 years. Currently, I'm doing a master's degree.Me as a Teacher
Teaching is my passion and I've been teaching the Turkish language to foreigners since 2020 at SADEM language academy. For me, my students are my priority in teaching and their smile is my happiness. I always put communication at the highest level. I encourage my students to practice and use their language skills because no matter how much you know the rules and grammar of a language if you couldn't use it, it's not good enough.
I can switch from Turkish to English or vice versa if needed but I generally prefer to speak in the language I teach so students will be used to listen to it.My lessons & teaching style
I plan my lessons to cover the four basic language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). I prefer to speak Turkish while teaching to increase my students' exposure to the language but I can also teach in English by request.
I use visual materials for grammar teaching. Since the first lesson, I'll make the lesson both fun and substantial with audio materials (videos, news, TV series, movies, audio recordings) and visual materials (flashcards, presentations, gifs). Students' needs are always my priority. So they can request and ask anything they need to know and learn about Turkish. If you want to learn Turkish, I'm here to help!My teaching material
