Hello and welcome to my italki profile!! My name is Jinique and I'm an Afrikaans community tutor from South Africa. Gedurende my vrye tyd, hou ek daarvan om te lees, musiek te luister, te bak, gedigte te skryf en vlogs te kyk. I find that listening to music and watching vlogs helps me to relax and destress and that is why I spend most of my day doing that. As n onderwyser, is ek kalm, ondersteunend en altyd gereed om jou op te beur. I want to make my lessons as engaging as possible and I always want my students to be themselves. I encourage my students to make mistakes as the only way to learn is through making mistakes and having them corrected. I always encourage my students to do their best and celebrate every milestone on their learning journey. Ek is n baie geduldige onderwyser en ek probeer altyd my beste om jou te help om die meeste uit elke les te wins. My teaching style is very communicative and I seek to make my lessons fun and varied. I believe that the only way one can learn is through doing and that is why I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible. I will be focusing on assisting students with their grammar, pronunciation, spelling, sentence construction and how to have basic conversations in Afrikaans.
