My name is Lilah and I am a Hebrew teacher. I was born and raised in Israel and I currently live in the U.S.
I love teaching! Other than teaching I love practicing Yoga, reading books and learning new languages.Me as a Teacher
I know that learning a language is a journey that requires patience and persistence.
I have over 10 years of experience as a middle school teacher. I have a lot of patience to my students and I care a lot about my students and them making a progress and enjoy the process.My lessons & teaching style
In my lessons I like to combine 4 language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing. Although, I believe that listening and speaking have an important role in language acquisition.
My main teaching strategy is to use real-life situations that are relevant to the students, for example:
presenting yourself, going to buy groceries, going to the bank, job interview etc.
I like to encourage my students to talk as much as possible, whether their level is just a basic vocabulary or advanced level. While doing that, we will expand vocabulary and learn common grammar points.My teaching material
