Hello, my name is Perle ! :D
I specialize in Business French and Conversational French.
I was born and raised in the South of France and during my Master in International Trade and Languages I travelled a lot to study various languages. I went to China, USA, Spain, Senegal and Japan.
I am now a translator and I am fluent in English and can speak proficiently Spanish.
I love to interact with people from all around the world and learn about their culture.Me as a Teacher
I love teaching French and talking about French culture.
Thanks to my job, I understand very well the difficulty of learning a new language and I will give you all my tips and tricks to learn, remember and keep on improving your skills in French.
I am very friendly, patient and open-minded so there is no need to worry about our first interaction! ;)
Important note : My lessons are mostly teenager (16 and above) and adult-focused, I might lack certain resources that would be better suited for young children.My lessons & teaching style
- Guided conversation: we talk about a specific topic and I can send you a text, an audio file or a video before our session.
- Free conversation: we talk about a list of topics that YOU choose (you lead) and we will focus on your pronunciation and your use of the French grammar.
- Role play: First, we will study some vocabulary related to a topic. After that, I will put you in a specific situation and you will have to talk your way out of it !
- General learning: what is the trick to know with 98% accuracy if a word is feminine or masculine ? What is the difference between "amener" and "emmener"? I will assess your strength and weaknesses and we will work on your pronunciation and syntax.My teaching material

Perle is an excellent teacher. She's friendly and fun but focused on teaching the wonderful language of French.
Thanks to Perle, in several months, I've gone from "I can read some French but freeze if I have to speak" to "I read newspapers and books and understand most podcasts in French and I'm able to express myself (and make mistakes) in French without fear."
Perle is reliable, patient, and helpful. I enjoy both our chatting and her instruction. She has great suggestions for additional French media.
I can tell Perle's approach works: I'm getting a bit better each week, and that's incredibly motivating. I look forward to each lesson!
