Hello there! I am Elaine Garcia, a 26-year-old licensed professional teacher. I was born and raised in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and I am a freelance tutor. I teach both Tagalog and English. In English, I offer English for kids and conversational English. While in Tagalog, I offer fundamental Tagalog, Tagalog travel, and conversational Tagalog. In my free time, I love to read books and manha and watch movies or anime. I also love traveling with my family, and I love meeting people all over the world and learning about their cultures. My passion is teaching, and I enjoy interacting with others.Me as a Teacher
I've been a freelance tutor since 2020. I have been teaching English, Tagalog, and other subjects to kids, helping them understand lesson concepts in school, and assisting them with their assignments. I've been teaching English to adults all around the world. I have experienced both traditional and online teaching. Even though I was the one teaching, my students taught me a lot since they showed me that every person's struggles are different and every student is unique. I enjoyed meeting my students' needs and watching them get better and succeed as a result of their efforts.My lessons & teaching style
Communicative language teaching is my teaching approach. I want to emphasize the students’ ability to communicate in real-life contexts, and students learn to make requests, accept offers, explain things, and express their feelings and preferences. The advantages of CLT include learning with a clear purpose, fostering a student-centered approach, increasing student engagement, promoting lesson variability and creativity, and developing all core language skills.My teaching material
