My name is Marie (or Maruška)! I'm a professional Czech tutor and also your Czech buddy!
Apart from teaching Czech, I enjoy watching stand-up comedy, playing board games, hiking, playing with my cat, reading about history, and a lot of other wonderful things!Me as a Teacher
I like to work with my students as a team to figure out the best way to reach their goals together.
Every student is different, but my lessons always involve a lot of speaking time (for you, not for me! :-)
Will we speak English? Nope! I do speak English, but my lessons are in Czech. That's what you pay for!

You can expect a friendly and encouraging environment.
Most of my lessons involve a lot of speaking, and then some focus on the areas of grammar you might be struggling with, vocabulary exercises, writing practice... it's all about what you need and want. I like to say that I know a lot about Czech grammar... and I also know when to keep that to myself :-)My teaching material
