Hello! I am a Turkish and English tutor for almost 7 years. I am an engineer with a masters degree who works full time for a global corporate company. I am also getting my third degree in Business Administration. I enjoy reading, travelling, yoga, running and playing ukulele. I am currently learning Italian, Japanese and German as well. I am an outspoken person who likes to travel and make new friends :)Me as a Teacher
I am an understanding and fun teacher. I like to chat with the students as if they are my friends. I enjoy teaching a lot as well as learning myself. I want the student to leave the class with a smile on their face and knowing they have learned something that lesson. I am energetic and fun to be learning with. I make my classes a welcoming and friendly place.My lessons & teaching style
I like to use pictures and vocabulary cards to create games and activities during the lessons. I believe in talking practice to improve as well as backing it up with some structured knowledge about the target language. I show short video clips where the student can hear a native speaker like me and then have a conversation about it. Each lesson has a target both thematically and grammaticly to learn something new. And it all comes down to having fun with the experience of learning a new language because when the lessons are fun, the connection between me and the student is better and they feel comfortable learning and speaking.
