Hey there, I'm a 25-year-old language enthusiast living it up in vibrant Barcelona! I've been teaching languages here for a while now, but before that, my life was a whirlwind of studying in Catalonia and exploring Europe. My upbringing was a linguistic adventure, juggling Catalan and English with my dad, Spanish with my mom, and both Spanish and Catalan at school and with friends. I even picked up English during my travels, and now I'm gearing up to dive into Arabic! When I'm not busy teaching, I'm diving into books, spending time with my loved ones, playing tennis and piano, trekking through nature, and experimenting in the kitchen.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, my approach is rooted in creating a personal and comfortable learning environment. I believe in moving at a pace that feels right for my students, ensuring they truly grasp each concept. My teaching style is characterized by optimism and positivity, fostering a space where students feel confident to explore and learn. I welcome changes and criticism openly, viewing them as opportunities for growth and improvement. My goal is to support and guide my students, celebrating their successes and helping them overcome challenges. A lot of conversational practice and day-to-day phrasing and just understanding the fundamental structure of the Catalan and Spanish languages. Along with tackling grammar and the use of different tenses. We will approach it like a video game whereby you improve level by level towards the final boss of fluency. I can't wait to see after a month how you'll be shocked by how much you've grown and how much you can hold your own in a day-to-day conversation. My goal is to enrich my students' lives in not only the feeling of inclusiveness but in the gift of fluency, and to one day feel included in the rich tapestry of Catalan culture.My teaching material
